Due to circumstances beyond our control, our 2021 season closed on Sept 30th. We will return in 2022.
Maison des Cyclistes, Montreal, Quebec
Our Montreal operations and company office are located at Vélo Québec‘s la Maison des Cyclistes in the Plateau Mont-Royal borough of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The 3-story “House of Cyclists” corner building sits the intersection at two of Montreal’s busiest cycle lanes at Parc LaFontaine.
We have a small shop inside where you can check in for your tour or organize your bike rental. During the pandemic we are doing this mostly outside on the patio. While here pick-up a copy of our own Fitz Map of of Montreal (99+ staff recommendations), or some Fitz t-shirts or re-usable water bottles.
We are next to the excellent on-site Le Picnic Cycle Cafe, and the ‘dépanneur’ style bike boutique where you will find all the info you need about exploring beautiful Québec by bike. Lots of nice maps here.
What is Vélo Québec? The centre is home to nearly 100 workers mostly of Vélo Québec, an influential non-profit shaping Quebec bicycle policy through large scale events and rides, bicycle tourism development, training and support for children and adults, publishing of bicycle guide books, maps, and magazines.
